What is this project?
This project focuses on analyzing the operational structure and management of individual stations within the Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. (KMRL) using systems thinking. Through a systems approach, the project identifies key participants, their roles, and responsibilities in station management. Analyzing the collected information, the project tries to address the key problem areas.

CONTEXT
Kochi Metro Rail Limited
Kochi Metro Rail Limited or KMRL is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Kochi Metro, a rapid transit system serving the city of Kochi.
GOAL & SCOPE
The scope of the project is limited to station operations, where multiple subsystems and stakeholders function simultaneously.
Through a systems approach, the project identifies key participants, their roles, and responsibilities in station management. By utilizing tools such as Organizational Charts, Process Charts, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Entity-Relationship (ER) Diagrams, the project aims to highlight inefficiencies and problem areas within the current system.
